  Abstract:

  BEC based matter wave interferometers are known as high precision measurement tools for gravity. Extending the free propagation time will lead to increase the

  sensitivity for fundamental research. One way to achieve this is to perform the

  experiment in space. This leads to new challenges in terms of mechanical and thermal stability. In case of the laser system ZERODUR-based optical benches are a

  promising technology to fulfill the required stability.
