报告题目：“微纳结构光纤光子器件及其应用”（Micro&nano-structured fiber photonic devices and applications）

报告人简介：

He have a research background in micro&nano-structured fiber photonics, especially in photonic crystal fibers, nanofibers, functional fiber and sensing devices, and advanced photonics manufacturing. He had worked as a research officer at the Centre for Photonics and Photonics Materials (CPPM) of University of Bath, a world-leading research centre in photonic crystal fibers. And then He work as a research fellow at Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) of University of Southampton, one of the world’s leading institutes for photonics research which has achieved many breakthroughs in optoelectronics.

2004 –2008 Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Supervisor: Chair Prof. M. Suleyman Demokan)

2001 –2004 M.S. in Optical Engineering, Tsinghua University

1997 –2001 B.S. in Measurement& Control Technology and Instrumentation, Wuhan University
