The 5th Asia Pacific Laser Symposium

APLS2006, the 5th Asia Pacific Laser Symposium will be held on November 23－27 , 2006 Guilin, Guangxi Province, China. The 1st APLS was held in 1998 at Cheju of Korea, the 2nd in Shanghai of China (2000), the 3rd in Osaka of Japan (2002),
and the 4th in Yongpyong of Korea (2004), respectively. The purpose of APLS2006 is to provide a forum to review the most important developments in the field of laser and its applications, to exchange the update technical information in laser research, to promote laser applications in advanced science and industry, and to grasp the potential collaboration opportunities.  

　　APLS2006 aims at bringing together of Asia-Pacific scientists and engineers working on laser science and technology. It covers a wide scope of laser science, technology, its applications and even others related to lasers. It will be composed of some plenary lectures, the invited papers, the oral and the poster presentations in each field.  

　　Join us and we would like to share with you the new achievements on laser and its applications. We are sure you will enjoy not only the exchange of scientific and technical information but also the memorable experience of the beauty of
Guilin.
