In this talk, I will present our research on the coherent control of ultracold polar6Li-40K molecules. Weakly-bound molecules are formed in a degenerate Fermi-Fermi mixture of 6Li and 40K atoms via an interspecies magnetic Feshbach resonance at 21.56 mT. We employ stimulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) to coherently transfer such vibrationally-excited molecules to the ro-vibrational ground state. A one-way efficiency of 96% is achieved with home-built low-phase-noise diode lasers. We then demonstrate coherent control of the rotational states with precision MW spectroscopy, where the hyperfine nuclear Zeeman levels are resolved. Further, we report a magic wavelength for extending the rotational coherent time of6Li-40Kmolecules. Our work paves the way for the quantum simulation of lattice Hamiltonian with long-range interactions and exploring quantum computation using the rotational states of6Li-40Kpolar molecules.

杨安邦,中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所副研究员。博士毕业于新加坡国立大学量子技术中心,师从Kai Dieckmann教授,之后留组继续博士后研究。回国后加入中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所,主要研究方向为中性原子量子计算。
